'Fishskin, Hareskin' won the Costa Short Story Award 2014; you can read it or listen to a lovely reading on the Costa Book Awards website.

'Water Bull Bride', a folklore-inspired story, won The Short Story Competition 2014 and is available to read here.

'Earth is Not for Eating', a kind of reverse changeling story, is in US journal Glint, here. They very sweetly nominated it for a Pushcart Prize.

My Lorca-Inspired short story 'Green, How I Love you' appears in The Bohemyth here.

Another woods-and-Lorca inspired piece, 'Bronze and Dream, the Gypsies Come' is in Holdfast.

Luna Station Quarterly have published two of my stories; 'The Borrowed Trunk' is here and 'Perfect Pins' is here.

A 100 word drabble entitled 'Time Machine' is also at Luna Station Quarterly.

My short piece inspired by a mouse taxidermy class, 'How to Make a New Friend in 30 Steps', is available here in HOAX.

Another piece inspired by mouse taxidermy, 'Mouse Tongue' is in Vine Leaves issue 7 (on page 20).

My story 'Tether' came out of discussing Nozick's 'Experience Machine' (a philosophical thought experiment) with Professor of philosophy Jonathan Wolf. All the stories in this Comma Press anthology respond to a problem or paradox from science and philosophy.
